Christmas dumplings

Christmas dumplings

These meatballs They are a great idea to eat on Christmas Day. They are different meatballs, that we will prepare in the oven and that we will accompany with a wonderful honey mustard sauce.

And, of course, we can cook with a lot of advance, as far in advance as we want (we can even prepare it months before and have it frozen) I know that for these days, this is one of the requirements that you look for in Christmas recipes, so I hope you like them.

The only thing we will have to prepare that day (but we can also leave it ready a few hours before) is the sauce. As an accompaniment we can put some french fries, bakery, cooked and a salad. And first we can put a fantastic seafood soup.

Hello Irene !!!!! Do you freeze the meatloaf raw or cooked?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas !!

Hi Marita !! I always freeze them once they are cooked in serving containers or in several servings, depending on how they are going to be used later. When I want to use them, I plan ahead and leave them in the fridge defrosting for 24 hours. Then it is just heating in the microwave or in a pot. If for whatever reason you don't have time to leave them defrosting for those 24 hours, put them directly in the microwave and let them defrost at medium power so that the heating process is not too aggressive. I hope I've helped! Thanks for following us 😉
