Cold hake cake without an oven is one of my summer recipes favorites. It has many good things like that it does not give any work, it is fast and it is always a triumph in the kitchen.
I still do not understand how this type of recipes can like so much but the truth is that it does not matter if I use it second course or as a snack. The fact is that it always surprises and I always end up distributing the recipe among one of the guests.
In time, I have gone adapting the original recipe to the tastes and needs of a small family like mine. So we can enjoy a cold fish cake but without having the leftovers rolling around in the fridge for days.

To do it I like to use hake but it will be just as good if you use monkfish, sole or even cod.
This cake is ideal for take advantage of the fish that you have left over from another recipe. The goal of good housekeeping is to give leftovers a second life and not throw anything away in order to save.
If you do not have cooked fish you can easily cook it with Thermomix. You just have to put it in the varoma and program 18 minutes, varoma temperature and speed 1. You can take advantage of the glass to prepare other recipes such as soups and creams. Although you can also do it by putting only 500 g of water in the glass.
