Taking advantage of the nougat that we have opened these Christmas, let's prepare some muffin delicious and very crispy with hard nougat. To do this, we are going to use the recipe from lemon muffins how well it works.

They taste very homemade and, the best thing is that they are very healthy (so we avoid eating industrial pastries). They take little time to make and last 4-5 days very well. Of course, when they cool, put them in a bag and that way they will stay soft.

Homemade hard almond nougat muffins ideal to share with the family during Christmas.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 130 gr. sugar
  • 120 gr. sunflower oil
  • 70 gr. cream 35% mg
  • 175 gr. pastry flour
  • 1/2 envelope of yeast
  • the zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tablet of hard nougat

Preparation

  1. We put the 1/2 tablet of nougat cut into large pieces inside the glass and crush 2 seconds, glass closed, turbo speed. There should be small pieces that are noticeable when biting into the muffins, but it should not be dusty. If you like more crushed put a second more. Remove and reserve.

  2. We put the butterfly on the blades and add the eggs and sugar. We beat during 6 minutes, speed 3 1/2 and temperature 37º.

  3. We add the lemon zest and beat others 6 minutes, speed 3 1/2, but without temperature.

  4. Add the oil and cream and mix for 3 minutes, at speed 3.

  5. We remove the butterfly and add the flour, the nougat that we had reserved and the yeast. We mix during 20 seconds, speed 2 1/2. And if they have not been incorporated well into the mixture, we do it with the spatula and with enveloping movements.

  6. Let it rest while we preheat the oven to 200º. Pour the dough into the muffin capsules 3/4 of each capsule and sprinkle a little sugar on top.

  7. We put in the oven at 180º, first with only heat below for the first 5 minutes and the rest of the time, 10-15 more minutes, with heat above and below.
