Fried Milk with Sugar and Cinnamon

After taking care of ourselves for weeks with the intake of vegetables and greens, the time has come to prepare ourselves for the recipes of eastern. In these weeks do not expect low-calorie dishes, at least for my part. We start with the traditional Fried Milk with Sugar and Cinnamon.

Easter is that time of year when sweets abound where the sugar and cinnamon They take on a leading role. The Fried milk It is one of those desserts that is usually consumed on these dates.

It is a very simple sweet to make that you need to few ingredients. We usually have all of them at home, so we have no excuse to enjoy this delicious dessert at Easter. Milk, eggs y sugar which are combined giving rise to a dough very similar to that of croquettes that, in the same way, is fried and coated in sugar and cinnamon just like the French toast.

Fried milk. Enjoy all the flavor of this popular Easter dessert in a homemade way. Cinnamon and vanilla that combine giving a delicious aroma and flavor.

Ingredients

• 1000g milk
• 100 g of corn flour
• 150 g of sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

To fry and batter

• Eggs
• Wheat
• Sugar and cinnamon

Preparation

1. We dilute the cornmeal with a little of the liter of milk. We mix it well until the flour is well dissolved.

2. Add the rest of the milk, the flour diluted in the milk, the eggs, the sugar, the vanilla essence and the cinnamon to the glass and program 9 minutes, temperature 100º and speed 4.

3. Meanwhile, we line a rectangular dish with plastic wrap.

4. We dump the resulting mass into the source and cover it with skin-tight plastic wrap to prevent the surface from drying out. We let it warm and we put it in the fridge for a minimum of 5 hours until it is well compact.

5. After that time, we dump the dough on the work table. We remove the plastic wrap and, with a very sharp knife, cut small squares of the dough. We pass them through beaten egg and wheat flour and fry them in plenty of sunflower oil. When they are golden brown, we pass them to a source where we will have put absorbent paper to remove the excess oil.

6. Finally, we batter the fried milk in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon and ready to eat. We can take it cold or warm.
