Ham and green bean fideuá

La Fideua It is a delicious dish that the thermomix, like so many other things, has the ability to prepare phenomenally. Today we have prepared Serrano ham fideuá with green beans. We loved it! It is at its exact point of cooking, juicy and very tasty. At first, when you take it out of the glass it seems that it is super broth, but with the minutes of rest it is perfect. You have to try it!

On the blog we have several delicious fideuá recipes, don't miss them! Marine fideuá, aubergine and goat cheese fideuá o classic fideuá.

It is also a recipe perfect for beginners or those who do not have much experience with the thermomix or with cooking in general, because I assure you that it comes out perfect. The fideuá was one of the dishes that I always prepared at the beginning when they gave me the thermomix.

Hello I love your recipes…. Let's see, I want to make this recipe, but for 8 people the ingredients are going to be multiplied by 2 but the cooking time too? Thank you for answering me and continuing so the recipes are delicious… ..

Hello Little one, well in your case I would do the following. I'd double the amounts and use the hot broth. It would proceed like this:
      1. We put the oil in the glass, the garlic and the onion. We grind 8 seconds, speed 5 and then we program 8 minutes, temperature 120º, speed 1.
      2. Now add the Serrano ham and program 3 minutes, temperature 120º, spoon speed.
      3. Add the tomato, the frozen beans and the parsley. We program 12 minutes, temperature 100º, spoon speed.
      4. Add the noodles, sweet paprika, saffron and a splash of wine, set 3 minutes, spoon speed, temperature 100º, turn to the left.
      5. Add the hot broth, pepper and salt to taste and set 12 minutes, temperature 100º, spoon speed, turn to the left.
      6. We check the point of the noodles, it should be almost at its point, but a tad whole. We pour everything into a casserole or deep dish where we are going to serve it (we will still have some broth). Cover and let it rest for about 5 minutes.

You will tell us about it !! A hug and thanks for following us 🙂

Thank you very much for all your recipes, I have a question regarding one of the ingredients. In the country where I reside, the Serrano ham is conspicuous by its absence, with what could I substitute it without leaving the fideua alone? Any ideas?

    1.    Irene Arcas said

Hello Leticia, a good substitute would be bacon or bacon. You will see how delicious! You could also use chorizo 😉

Yesterday I made it with chorizo and the truth is that it was delicious! The only thing that remained a bit soupy, but I think it is because of the noodles here, which are not properly fideua but vermicelli (soup noodles). But of exquisite flavor! Thanks a lot.
If I want to make for more people, do I just calculate the proportional part based on this recipe?
