Vanilla paste

homemade-vanilla-paste-thermorecetas

How many times have we seen recipes that used vanilla paste to make their desserts? Now we can use ours homemade!

Every time I looked for an American recipe I saw the vanilla paste. At first I substituted it, in my own way, for seeds or vanilla extract. Later he bought it online in specialized stores. Until I found this recipe and it seemed great and very interesting to make it with our Thermomix.

Vanilla paste is prepared in a simple and almost, almost alone. We just have to keep in mind that the higher the quality of our vanilla beans, the better our paste will be.

I usually have it in the fridge, it is a recipe that lasts a long time. Although, for me, the best thing is that I can give it away. You know that I love these gourmet gifts.

It is used to flavor any recipe, whether biscuits, cookies, ice cream, dough or even savory recipes. As simple as adding a teaspoon or the amount indicated. Since I have vanilla paste at home, I always use it. When the recipe puts 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, I put 1 teaspoon of that paste, since it is more concentrated. And the desserts are delicious.

Hi Mayra, I think it's great to be able to make vanilla paste at home but I wanted to ask you if it is possible to do without glucose.
    Thank you.

      Hi Loly:

I cannot answer you with certainty because with this recipe I have not experimented. I have made it as is and, as it has spread so much, I still have.

The next time I prepare it I will try to experiment. Although the only thing that happens to me is to substitute glucose for a syrup to the point of a soft ball. I'll tell you.

      Regards!

Thank you very much, it had not occurred to me about the syrup, it still works well, If I try, I'll tell you how.

        A greeting.

      Hello Mari Luz:

Well look, I've had a bottle in the fridge for a year. It has slightly crystallized edges but the rest is perfect!

      Kisses!!

      Hello Eva:
I have never tried but I think it would work very well. 😀

Thanks for the contribution, I will take it into account for my next experiment !!

      Greetings.

Thanks for the recipe, I just got my Thermomix and I'm starting to experiment. In this recipe do you use the whole pod, including the skin or just the inner part of the pods? Thanks again

      Hola!
For this recipe I use the whole pod. So not a little is wasted that at the price it is, it is better to make the most of them.

Yes, it goes a long way. You will get a good amount that you can give away or keep in its right place to use it for months.

      Regards!
