That Thermomix It's a gem, we all know it, but the fact that it can help us make an Irish coffee is the bomb, right?

At home we really like coffee and, sporadically, we prepare something more elaborate. The bad thing is that now it is cold and the slush they don't feel like that much. So I had to look for a recipe that was easy and in which the coffee was the main ingredient. When I tried this recipe I knew right away that I had to share it with you because although it seems very messy, it is very simple.

In addition, the best thing about preparing it ourselves is that we can make it to our liking, with more or less whiskey or cream.

With this easy Irish coffee recipe you can surprise your friends or guests with a hot drink made of coffee, whiskey and cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 long single coffees
  • 1 dessert spoon brown sugar
  • 1 long shot of whiskey
  • 90 g whipping cream
  • 15 g de azúcar blanquilla

Preparation

  1. The first thing to do is whip the cream so that afterwards the assembly is as fast as possible.

  2. Put the butterfly on the blades, add the cream and the white sugar.

  3. The time to whip the cream may vary depending on the quality and temperature. So the most advisable thing is to program speed 3 ½ and stop the machine when we have the semi-mounted cream. That is, it has a body but is not hard or stick to the walls of the glass. In my case it took me 20 seconds.

  4. Put water in a small cup and heat in the microwave for 40 seconds. It doesn't matter if it boils. What we want is for the mug to be hot.

  5. Prepare the two long coffees. Reserve.

  6. Remove the water from the cup and add the whiskey. Set it on fire with a lighter, always being careful not to burn yourself.

  7. Put a little of the brown sugar in the teaspoon and place it on top of the flame so that it caramelizes. When it starts to bubble mix it with the whiskey and continue burning. In this step we can let the flame burn out or we can put it out ourselves, putting a small plate on top.

  8. Divide the whiskey between the two coffees that we had reserved.

  9. Decorate with the semi-whipped cream and top with a few grains of brown sugar on top.

  10. Serve right away.
