For today we have a recipe with a nice and interesting name, but very simple: linguine with creamy pesto, black olives and smoked bacon. The key as you can imagine in any simple recipe is that the ingredients are of good quality. 

The best thing is that we make our own Genoese pesto sauce (we posted the recipe last Monday). So this recipe for today can be a great way to use up leftover pesto from another recipe. But also, if you want to make it and you do not have the ingredients to prepare the pesto at hand, you can already buy cans of prepared pesto that they sell in any supermarket. I recommend that in this case you buy a good quality Italian pesto.

I really like today's recipe, because on the one hand it is super simple and, on the other, it has a delicious flavor. The end result will be a super creamy and unctuous pasta, full of flavor and textures. We will also use smoked bacon to give it a different touch of flavor, but of course you can use the classic bacon or normal bacon, without smoking. Today they also sell a good variety of bacon in butchers. It is about the end that you can adapt the recipes to the ingredients that you have at home.
