This week it's time to bring something exotic to the table. I propose a dish that will transport you to other countries thanks to its aroma and flavor. A sweet and salty combination that will not leave anyone indifferent. Delight yourself with this marinated chicken and mango couscous.
Couscous is a dish made from the wheat semolina and quite consumed in Arab countries. A food very rich in carbohydrates that will provide us with energy in addition to enjoying its flavor and texture.
The main protein of the dish is provided by chicken. This time we will use brisket although we can also opt for the thigh. The marinated that we will make to marinate the chicken will make it very Tender and with a unique flavor and aroma. Strawberry jam, mustard and lemon juice are some of its ingredients.
We finish the dish with a preparation of mango with chives to cover the chicken and present it whose mixture of flavors is a delight for lovers of sweet and sour. All this accompanied by a sauce that will result from the reduction of the marinade.
Do you dare to try it? I have not only dared, but I have devoured it.
Go for it!
Couscous recipe video with marinated chicken and mango
As always here I leave you a video-tutorial with all the steps to follow to prepare the recipe. There are four different steps but I assure you that in less than an hour you have all the ingredients to assemble the dish. I give you a very general presentation suggestion in the video, quite simple. I suggest you try this one: we use a plating ring where we place the couscous. We place the chicken covered with the mango with chives on it and sprinkle with sauce. Finally we can decorate with some sesame seeds.
What do you think? I hope you liked it a lot!
If so, do not forget to leave a finger above the video and subscribe to channel if you haven't already. So you will be up to date with everything that is cooking.
See you next week, cooks!

Hi, can it be done on the tm31?
Any indication about it?
Hello Fran! If you use the TM31 you only have to change the steps where it says temperature 120º for varoma temperature. It will turn out just as good. Thanks for watching the video and for the comment!
