Meatballs with tomato

Last night we improvised some meatballs with tomato, which were delicious. My niece Natalia wanted them to be crunchy, so I used the trick of coating them with corn flakes. The result, spectacular. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce, a sauce of fried tomato of boat and that's it. But if you want something more natural, you can make our homemade fried tomato or accompany them with some french fries and our barbecue sauce

The children they also took it delighted. In addition, we did them together, that cooking as a family is somewhat slower, much dirtier, but much more fun and helps children to become familiar with food and eat it more comfortably, in addition to learning even mathematics at a given moment ( for the matter of proportions and quantities). And, as Natalia says, the family that cooks together stays together. A kiss, sobri!

Very simple meatballs that are delicious: crunchy on the outside (thanks to its peculiar batter) and juicy on the inside.

Ingredients

• 250 g of pork (you can use already minced pork or buy loin and we will mince it)
• 50 g onion
• olive oil
• 1 egg
• 4 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
• 2 tablespoons of milk
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 50 g corn flakes (unsweetened corn flakes)

Preparation

1. We grind the cereals during 8 seconds at speed 5. We take out and reserve.

2. We put in the glass 25 ml of olive oil and the onion in large pieces. We crush during 5 seconds at speed 5.

3. Then we sauté it for 8 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

4. Add the meat (cut into pieces, without nerves or fat), the egg, the milk, the breadcrumbs and the salt. We crush during 30 seconds at speed 4.

5. The dough must be compact, to be able to form the meatballs. If not, add more breadcrumbs.

6. If you already have minced meat, instead of 30 seconds at speed 4, we mix all the ingredients 10 seconds at speed 3.

7. Form balls with the dough, batter them in corn flakes and fry them in plenty of hot oil until golden brown.

8. We serve accompanied by the fried tomato.
