Do you like mushrooms? Yes to me and more and more. I consider it to be an easy food to find and prepare. In addition to being very versatile since it combines as many things as pasta or pizza. Although it also has enough presence to be the main ingredient.

Today I have prepared mushrooms stuffed with garlic and ham but they can be filled with spinach and goat cheese, turkey breast and tomato sauce, or with the ingredients you want.

Do not buy the mushrooms well in advance as they depreciate quickly. Is very easy to find them in the markets so ideally, they should be purchased on the same day or the day before.

Stuffed mushrooms is a simple dish with very few calories. Quick to make and that you can prepare if you are on a diet.

Ingredients

  • 6 large mushrooms
  • 1/2 bunch of garlic or garlic
  • 75 g of ham in cubes
  • 15 g oil
  • Chopped chives
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º.

  2. Chop the ham for 5 seconds at speed 7. Remove and reserve.

  3. Clean the mushrooms by cutting the earthy part of the stem. Wash them quickly, without letting them soak. Dry with paper towels. Pass a sharp knife around the stem and carefully pry the stem from the hat.

  4. Chop the feet or stems of the mushrooms during 5 seconds, speed 5. Remove and reserve.

  5. Clean the garlic by removing the roots, the hardest green part and the first layer. Wash well, dry and chop during 5 seconds, speed 5. Lower the pieces onto the blades and add the oil. Poach during 6 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  6. Add the chopped mushroom stems. Continue for 2 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  7. Add the ham, program 2 minutes, 100º, speed 2, without beaker.

  8. Fill the mushroom hats with the sham from the glass. Place them in a sturdy pan and bake for 10 minutes.

  9. Remove and distribute between 2 plates, finish decorating with a thread of oil and a little chopped chives.

      Hi Tini,

      no, it does not have salt because the Serrano ham gives it the perfect touch. If you substitute it for ham, you can add a pinch of salt.

      You can substitute them for leeks. It is not exactly the same flavor but it will do perfectly.
