Onion rings

onion rings-thermorecetas

There is always a good excuse to prepare one snacking dinner where you can't miss some crispy onion rings.

What if a derby in the league, what if a Champions League game, what if a movie session with friends or a fun Friday night. Anything goes because, in reality, what we love are snacking dinners. And with Thermomix are so easy to organize that preparing several recipes it won't involve us any work.

Onion rings are a classic and there are sure to be over 100 different batters. Although so that they remain crispy  you have to be clear about three things:

The onion must be cut into rings of a similar size and dip them in water
The dough and the rings have to rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Once fried, do not put them on absorbent paper, it is better to use the trick of the large strainer that I describe in the preparation.

Only then will you get authentic onion rings and tasty.

They look great, so I think I'll encourage you to prepare them over the weekend. Could you use plain flour instead of chickpea flour? Greetings and congratulations on your page.

      Hello Mª Dolores:

They can be made with normal flour but the result is not the same. With the chickpea flour the batters are more crunchy.

      Regards!

Good! How do I know that the tonic has actually reached 100 ° temperature ??????

Hello Ananda, for the temperature sensor.
If you have the TM31, the light of 100 degrees has to stay fixed.
If you have the TM5 OR TM6 model, it will indicate it on the digital screen.

      Regards!
