Peanut butter

peanut butter-thermorecetas

How many television series have we seen in which they were preparing Sandwiches with peanut butter? The most striking thing is that they also add jam, forming a combination that Americans go crazy.

Contrary to what it may seem, peanut butter can be used in multiple and healthy recipes that we will discover little by little.

Until now we had prepared butter beating cream until its particles separate. But with the peanuts the process is different. When crushed, the natural oil heats up and melts with the crushed pieces, forming a paste with the perfect texture to spread.

As always, the best thing about making these preparations at home is that we can make them according to our own tastes. In this way we can make simple peanut butter, to the point of salt or with different textures, which opens up a fantastic world.

Sorry but how much butter should be put

      Hello Encarna:

Peanut butter does not contain butter, only peanuts that may or may not be peeled. The result is almost the same only the color changes. They can also be salty or unsalted, it just depends on your own tastes.

      Regards!!

I did it with peeled fried peanuts, because I did not notice that they were toasted jjjj very good! And I made myself a samwich with jam and it tasted great, I had never tried it. To repeat!

Hello my question is: peanuts are peeled? because by the color that is seen it seems that no. Thank you.

    1.    Natalia said

Hello Carmen, when I made it, I did peel them, it is more laborious but I do not trust the flavor that remains if the skin is left ...

      1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

        Hello Natalia:

With skin so good it is rich. It does not leave a bitter taste or anything like that. The only thing that the color is darker but just as good. Remember that you can make it with your favorite peanuts.

        Regards!!

      Hi carmen:

To make peanut butter you can use the ones you like the most: peeled, unpeeled, with salt, without salt… they are all good !!

The butter in the photo is made with roasted peanuts, with skin and salt. It is very rich and has a delicious pinch of salt.

      Try and tell us, okay?

Hello Mayra! I am going to make this recipe but first I would like to ask you: Does it keep well? It is that in my house I am the only one that I will eat and 20 servings I see too much, hahaha. Would you recommend me to do for example half? Would they be the same times? Thanks!

      Hi Lis:

I keep it in the fridge and, the truth is, it holds me for weeks. I recommend that you be attentive because soon we will publish healthy and healthy recipes with this ingredient!

      Greetings.

Hello, it doesn't have butter or anything, just peanuts ???? And when you talk about beating, what do you mean ???

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hi lutp:

Oddly enough, this recipe only uses peanuts. Its own characteristics make its oils mix when crushed and it is an easy texture to spread as if it were butter.

To make it you just have to crush them and mix well. If you follow the instructions in the recipe it will be perfect!

      Greetings.

Many thanks to my children, they love it, it is so simple! And so I know it's natural because the one I bought had so many ingredients that I didn't like like palm oil

You are absolutely right Isabel !!

  9.   Jacqueline Rabba said

Hello!!! I love peanut butter, but they feel like little pieces! The recipe you give us is Crunch or creamy !! ??

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hi Jacqueline,

With the indications of the recipe you have a creamy peanut butter.

To make it crunch I would go to step 2. I would remove some of the pasta and continue with the recipe. In the end I would put the two pastes together. This way you make sure that it is soft to spread but with crunchy and delicious pieces.

      Kisses!!

  10.   Goyo said

Hello good! Can you make butter from any dried fruit (almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts ...) following this recipe?

    Thank you very much!

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hello Goyo,
Yes, it can be done although there are nuts that are more interesting than others, depending on the tastes of each one.
      Kisses!!

Where do you buy roasted peanuts? It is that I only find them fried, with too much salt or with a whole shell, and I cannot find some that are healthier, without having to spend hours peeling them.
