Do you remember the cod with tapenade de provence What were we preparing a few days ago? Well, today I bring you a fabulous recipe to take advantage of the tapenade that we have left over: Puff pastry with tapenade, a delicious aperitif to snack on at dinner or as a snack.

It will take you about 2 minutes to make the palmeritas and about 18 minutes to see how they are baked ... can you ask for more? It is one of the fastest and easiest recipes on the blog.

Puff pastry palmeritas with tapenade de Provence

Crispy puff pastry palms, filled with tasty Provençal tapenade. Ideal as an aperitif or snack.

Ingredients

A rectangular fresh puff pastry sheet
Tapenade that we have left over from the cod recipe with tapenade (see recipe here)
Grated cheese for gratin

If you want to prepare the palmeritas and you have not prepared the cod, these would be the ingredients to prepare the tapenade:

50 g pitted black olives
1 garlic clove
30 g capers
150 g pitted green olives
1 small can of anchovy fillets in olive oil (50 gr.)
1 tablespoon dried oregano
15 g of extra virgin olive oil
1 slice of Cayenne, crumbled (optional)

Preparation

We preheat the oven to 180º.
In the glass we put the black olives and chop 2 seconds, speed 6. We remove to a bowl and reserve.
Add the garlic, capers, green olives, anchovies with their oil and crush 3 seconds, speed 7. With the spatula, we lower the remains that have remained on the walls and on the lid of the glass towards the blades.
Add the oregano, oil and cayenne (optional). We shred 30 seconds, speed 4.
We spread the puff pastry sheet, spread with the mixture from the glass and sprinkle the chopped black olives on top.
We roll both sides of the dough towards the center and wet the joint of the rolls with a little water so that they stick.
We cut the roll into finite slices and place them on the baking tray (to which we put a sheet of greaseproof paper) and crush them a little with the base of the cup.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 15-18 minutes at 180º (or until golden brown).
