Quinoa with vegetables with a touch of citrus

Quinoa with vegetables with a touch of citrus

A while ago I told you about the quinoa and its nutritional properties. Well today it's time to publish a recipe with this fabulous ingredient. In this case, we are going to prepare something simple so that we can become familiar with it and, above all, with its texture and flavor. We will prepare Quinoa with vegetables and a touch of citrus sauce.

The way of preparation will be quite similar to that of a rice, so you can add and modify the ingredients to your liking.

An advantage of quinoa over rice is that it remains firm once it has been cooked, and it is not as sensitive to heat as rice, which can be passed to us in a matter of a few minutes. So, it is a good option to take in a tupperware to work or to leave it prepared in advance.

Well, you will tell me your impressions. I hope you like it and that you will become more and more fond of this product.

Hello. After making the recipe, I have been told that the quinoa must be washed before cooking. .it's true?
And if so. Why haven't you put it in the recipe?
Can you eat if you have washed?

Hello Manu, the quinoa that they sell already packaged in supermarkets is ready to eat so it is not necessary to wash it previously. This you would have to do if you acquire it directly from the cultivation. Thanks for writing to us!!
