Sweet spiders for Halloween

Preparation

1. We put the milk, sugar and butter in the glass. We program 2 minutes, 37º, speed 2.

2. We add the yeast and the eggs. We mix 5 seconds, speed 4.

3. Add half of the flour and mix 15 seconds, speed 6.

4. And to finish, we add the rest of the flour and program 3 minutes, glass closed, spike speed.

5. Let the dough rest in the glass until it doubles in volume (about 30 minutes). We take the dough out of the glass to put it on our floured work surface. With the spatula or with a soup spoon we are making the buns (you will see that it is a sticky and very soft dough so it is better to use a couple of spoons -or the spatula and a spoon- than to work it with your hands). We are placing these balls on the oven tray previously covered with baking paper. They come out quite a lot so we will need more than one tray.

6. We let them rest in a warm place free of drafts for approximately 45 minutes (we can take advantage of that time to make the truffle). After that time of the second raised we brush them with beaten egg and put a little sugar on the surface.

7. We preheat the oven to 250º. When they have doubled in size, we bake them for 7 minutes.

8. We take our "spider bodies" out of the oven and let them cool.

9. While the Swiss are raising (2nd raising of the dough) we can make the truffle.

10. We can cool the glass by chopping some ice cubes that we will then throw away (to whip the cream, both the glass and our cream have to be very cold). We put the butterfly on the blades. We shake the cream container well and pour its contents into the glass. We add the two tablespoons of cocoa powder and also a tablespoon of Philadelphia cheese that will give our cream more consistency. We put the Thermomix to work in speed 3 1/2, without programming time. When it is ready, we stop the machine and add the icing sugar to the whipped cream. We integrate sugar and cream helping us with the spatula and with enveloping movements. We reserve in the fridge.

11. When the Swiss are cold, we'll move on to fun and easy work: transforming them into a spider.

12. We take a Swiss, we make a few holes with the help of a knife in the eight points where we will place the legs. We put the 8 legs (pieces of black liquorice), each one in a little hole.

13. Now we are going to put a layer of truffle on the Swiss and sprinkle a little cocoa powder on top.

14. We place the eyes. The white pastillitas will stick without problem to the truffle. The drops of dark chocolate can be glued to the white with a little truffle.
