Green bean soup with potatoes

Today I bring you a very simple recipe. Now that it is starting to cool down, especially at night, I was beginning to feel like drinking for dine the rich creams that are prepared with the Thermomix®.

So taking advantage of the fact that now is the green bean seasonI thought about making this cream, with a little potato and a cheese to give it that final touch (which in case you have children, so we can make the dish more fun).

Of course, you can add any other vegetables that you have at homepumpkin, carrot, celery, leek ...).

Hi Irene ¡¡¡Thank you very much for this recipe, I think it is the simplest, quickest and above all I love the soups! I put half of the ingredients, would it be good as a first course, or would it be very cheesy? a big kiss and thanks for making life a little easier for us!

Hi Ester! Thank you very much for your comment, I'm glad you liked it. In my house there are also two of us, so with half the ingredients it's fine. And I see it great as a first course or for dinner too. Now that the cold is really coming ... the body appreciates it. Thanks for following us! And tell me how about when you do it huh?

Could it be the frozen green beans? In that case does the time or the amount of water influence? thank you very much for the recipes.

      Hello Silvia,
Of course they can be frozen green beans (I sometimes do it like this too), and neither the cooking time nor the amount of water has an influence. I hope you like it. A kiss.

HELLO IRENE. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RECIPE IT SAYS THAT YOU CAN ALSO ADD OTHER VEGETABLES SUCH AS CARROTS. WHEN SHOULD IT BE ADDED TO THE GLASS TOGETHER WITH THE BEANS ??? THANK YOU

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

Hello Clara, yes, everything is added right at the beginning together with the beans.

    Very good !!
I have adapted the recipe a bit, adding a little sautéed leek at the beginning and a piece of zucchini. And the result is great. I'm going to sign it up for other times because in the summer, those of us who have family with orchards don't even know what to do with so much green beans! Now cross your fingers to see if the little one likes it ...
Thank you so much for the recipe
