It is one of the yogurts that I usually prepare at home, because we all like it very much, and because I find it a luxury to be able to have a vanilla yogurt for real, without artificial flavors and without colorings.
El Brown sugar It causes the yogurt to change a bit, and the black dots of the vanilla are what show us that it is a homemade yogurt. By the way, the piece of vanilla bean that you have left over, do not throw it away. You can put it in a glass jar with sugar and so you will have vanilla sugar for your pastry recipes.
And if you want to turn this yogurt into an even more special dessert… Take a nice glass. Put on the base Strawberry jam, on it the vanilla yogurt, and on the surface a crunchy of dried fruits. You will see how delicious.
Vanilla yogurt
It's very easy and it's great. We need milk, a natural yogurt, brown sugar and a piece of vanilla bean. With a yogurt maker it is even easier.

With what they like ice cream I will have to do it !!!!
How delicious, with what I like yogurts, but they put so much colorants and preservatives on them, the truth is that they take away the desire to one, and I am sure that I do but I will use the oven, not the yogurt maker… .thank you for your recipes and share them ...
It could be made with vanilla essence or with vanilla sugar.Thank you very much
Hi carmen,
If you do it with vanilla essence, you can make the yogurt directly, without previously heating the milk since you can immediately flavor it with a few drops of this essence.
With vanilla sugar it will also look good on you, although the vanilla flavor will not be as intense.
Then you tell us, to see how it turns out.
Take care!
Ascended in the case that you use vanilla essence, how much do you think I would have to put, thank you pretty
Hi carmen:
It will depend on the brand you use. Here the best we can do is try. Start with 1 teaspoon and see how it goes. If you see that it does not taste too much vanilla, in the next batch of yogurts you increase the amount a little.
And if you can get hold of a vanilla bean, try using it for yogurts. It's not cheap, I know, but it goes a long way.
Thank you for your trust. A kiss!!
Good! With these amounts, how many yogurts do you get? Thanks.
Hi Mary,
It will depend on the size of the cans you use. About 7 or 8, it depends. Think that you will have as a final result 1 liter of milk and 125 g of yogurt (plus sugar). If each of your cups can hold 150 g, then you will need 7 and a half of another.
A hug!
