Varoma pepper salad

The arrival of the summer and things are already craving cool y little elaborate. The salads They tend to be very helpful at this time of year and, as an accompaniment to a dish, they look great. Today I propose you to take a version of the classic baked pepper salad using our steamed kitchen utensil: the varoma. I present the varoma pepper salad.

You can see in the image that it is very striking since I use for its elaboration peppers of the three colors. That way it is showy and very attractive. It is a very simple to elaborate. We will only have to cook the peppers in the varoma container and then prepare the dressing.

In summer we do not want to complicate ourselves, right? You can accompany it with potato omelettes, grilled meats or even in sandwiches. With the steamed bread that I suggested a couple of weeks ago is delicious.

Varoma pepper salad. A peculiar version of the traditional oven roasted pepper salad. You will love its flavor.

Ingredients

Peppers

• 1000 g of red, green and yellow peppers (you can only use red if you want them to be the most suitable)
• 1000 g of water
• 1 teaspoon salt

Dressing

• 50 g olive oil
• 2 cloves of garlic
• Cumin and salt to taste

Preparation

1. First we steam the peppers. To do this, we clean the peppers of seeds and veins and cut them into strips. Then we pour the water into the glass with the salt. We place the lid and place the varoma container on it. We program 45 minutes, varoma temperature and speed 2.

2. After time we reserve and empty the glass.

3. We prepare the dressing. Pour the oil, garlic, salt and cumin into the glass to taste and emulsify by programming 10 seconds at speed 6.

4. We pour the dressing over the peppers.
