Basic recipe: pico de gallo

With this basic pico de gallo recipe you will have the perfect garnish for many of the mexican dishes that you prepare at home.

The pico de gallo like many other recipes has different versions. This time we have tried to stick as closely as possible to the most original recipe. Although I am sure that we will soon share other preparations with different ingredients.

A recipe that is just as fresh as it is simple and that you will have ready in a matter of minutes. And that will serve you both for themed dinners and to give color and flavor to simpler dishes such as a French omelette.

For my taste you have to use a tomato that is tasty, meaty and ripe as it is the basis of this recipe.

It is also important to give it a spicy touch. In this case we have used chili and garlic but if the spiciness is not going you can suppress the chili.

Do not forget the lemon or lime juice to season the recipe and give it an acid touch that goes wonderfully.

This recipe is so fast that it is usually do in the momentor. Although it can also be done in advance and leave it to cool down in the fridge. In this case, I recommend that you do not add the lemon until the last moment as it tends to "cook" the ingredients.
