Today I bring you a quick, healthy and very simple proposal, special for beginners or for those people who have just purchased their Thermomix.

This recipe for chicken tacos with hot sauce could be included in a themed dinner with friends. It combines very well with the rest of the preparations Tex-Mex as Fajitas, quesadillas or a juicy guacamole.

You can use the leftover sauce on a pizza or to accompany white rice, although with a few simple fried eggs it is yummy !!

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 dried cayenne or chilli
  • 10 g olive oil
  • 30 g ketchup
  • 150 g of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon (coffee) hot paprika
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Peel and slice the garlic. Remove some seeds from the cayenne and put it in the glass with the garlic and oil. Brown them for 10 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.

  2. While removing the possible fat from the chicken breast. Wash and dry with kitchen paper. Cut into cubes and reserve.

  3. At the end of the time, add the crushed tomato, the ketchup and the hot paprika. Program 5 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  4. At the same time that the hot sauce is being made, brown the chicken tacos in a pan or griddle with a drizzle of hot oil. Remove when they begin to take a golden color.

  5. Once the time is up, grind for 30 seconds at speed 5. Remove.

  6. Divide the chicken tacos on a platter or two plates and season to taste. Place the hot sauce in individual sauce boats and serve. In this way each diner can serve the sauce to taste.
