Frankenstein's fingers are a great recipe to surprise everyone on Halloween. A very simple dish to make and a lot of fun.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized ripe avocados
  • 1 dried cayenne without seeds
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • the juice of half a lime or lemon
  • 1/2 fresh onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • Raw carrots
  • Rolled almonds

Preparation

  1. Put the garlic clove, the peeled avocado and the cayenne in the glass. Chop during 5 seconds at speed 8. Lower the chips onto the blades. Add the rest of the ingredients except the onion, program closed glass y press the turbo button for 2 seconds. Check that it has the desired texture, otherwise blend for a couple more seconds.

  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the onion cut in country style. Mix well with a spatula or spoon. Rectify with salt and pepper if necessary.

  3. Scrape and wash the carrots. Cut off the ends and make an incision on the narrower side. Place a slice of almond per carrot.

  4. When serving, place them in the avocado dip or cream, so that the almonds are up as if they were fingernails.

Notes

Don't throw away the avocado pit, put it inside the guacamole and so it won't turn brown.
