Fresh cheese flan

Fresh cheese flan

After Ascen posted his delicious cinnamon egg custard, at home we remember a recipe that a friend of a fresh cheese flan really exquisite that he made for his birthday last year. So I've rummaged through my pending recipes and voila! here it is. A delight, don't miss it!

Although it is true that it carries condensed milk, Burgos' cheese It has little fat, so it is not an excessively caloric dessert, taking into account that the amount of condensed milk is low and that this flan is for 4 people.

Good morning, could you substitute sugar for condensed milk and semi-whole milk or does it not work out well?

I do not understand the recipe, in the ingredients you do not put sugar, if eggs but it is one of the four the reserve one or it is another one, thank you

it is indeed a drafting error that has already been corrected. We add all the ingredients at the same time 🙂 Greetings !!

Thanks for the input. It looks so good.
In the ingredients you should specify the sugar as well as the amount.
If you don't read all the steps first, you get confused since step 1 is to add all the ingredients and by the time you get to the section (add the reserved egg and sugar) it will already be late.

I have prepared this flan today and I did it to the letter. Well, the result could not have been worse. The puddings were left (I put 6 small puddings) totally liquid. I tried to fix it by adding 20 more minutes and at 100 degrees instead of varoma (precisely to prevent them from drying out) They have spilled and also have been very curdled.
I don't understand what could have happened.
Can you help me with any suggestions? Thank you

Hello Marisa, when you put something in the varoma container, you must put the varoma temperature on it. Steaming some custards makes them not dry out. With 100º it might not be enough. On the other hand, you say that they have been spilled and that they have been very curdled, can't that be right? That is, if they are curdled, they are firm, they would not spill. If you have put all the ingredients and have followed the recipe to the letter, it is very rare that it has not come out. Because also, I see that you have done it in 6 small flaneras, so it should have curdled before ... How long have you had them in total?
