Peanut butter and chocolate

If you like spreads, get ready to indulge with this chocolate peanut butter. Delicious on hot toast and so easy that you can let your children make it themselves.

This recipe is halfway between homemade nutella and peanut butterso now you can imagine how rich it is.

The truth is that it can't be simplerYou just have to put the ingredients in the glass and in 5 minutes you have a spread for breakfast or a snack.

Want to know more about this chocolate peanut butter?

When you finish making the recipe, the butter will be liquid but as it loses temperature it will harden. Depending on the chocolate you use, it may be hard to spread, in this case, you just have to heat the a few seconds and you will see how it becomes softer.

To do it you can use your favorite peanuts. I have chosen to make it using fried and salted peanuts. I can tell you that the contrast with dark chocolate is brutal… pure vice!

If you go for regular peanuts, don't forget to add a generous pinch of salt. Believe it or not, it helps enhance the flavor of chocolate.

And speaking of chocolate, you can use the one you like the most, as long as it is black or milk. In my house we are fans of black, so there is no option to try other versions.

This is one of those recipes that should be consume in moderation since, although it is made with natural ingredients, it is quite caloric. So, control your desire to jump into the boat and eat it by the spoonful.

With these amounts, some 370 g cream, that is to say, that it gives for many toasts. So feel free to use it also to make delicious smoothies.

Needless to say, this recipe is suitable for vegan, celiac and gluten, egg and lactose intolerant. But remember to use a chocolate suitable for your special diet.

Peanut butter and chocolate you can keep in the pantry, you don't need to keep it in the fridge. I can not assure you how long it lasts, what I can tell you is that 15 days it holds them perfectly.

      Hello M Carmen:
For sure I cannot tell you the amounts because I have never done it but I would try 450 g of peanuts and 15 g of cocoa powder.
And if that seems like a lot, do it with half (225 g of peanuts and 8 g of cocoa).

I hope you tell us the result !!

      Greetings.

Hello, I have made it and it is very hard, do not give the thermomix temperature? Thanks

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

No Miguel, you don't have to give him a temperature. She will take it by herself after several minutes but will only reach 37º.

Depending on the chocolate you use, it will be more or less soft. To extend it better, you can heat it for a few seconds.

      Regards!

Good evening Mayra, my name is M Carmen, because I already made the cocoa powder as I told you and it has been very good I have put 250 of nuts and 15g of the nonfat cocoa powder and a pinch of vanilla
I have not put any kind of sweetness because we really like the bitterness of chocolate but each one according to their personal tastes
Thank you very much and greetings

Mayra, when you make it, I put half cashews and half almonds and crush a lot so the fat is loosened well and there is a perfect texture
