We propose you a simple pumpkin and potato cream with a mild flavor. It is ready in about 40 minutes and usually the little ones like it a lot.

And secondly, what do you think of a fish dish, one of the ones we have published? Sea bass with potatoes, salmon en papillote o cod with garlic are just a few examples.

A simple cream to prepare, light and with a pleasant texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cebolla
  • 20 g oil
  • 400 g of diced pumpkin
  • 400 g potato diced
  • 600 g of vegetable broth
  • 15 g of cream or butter or a drizzle of oil (optional)
  • Parsley or other aromatic herb
  • Sal Island
  • croutons

Preparation

  1. We put the onion and the 20 g of oil in the glass. We program 5 seconds, speed 7. Next we program 2 minutes, 100º, speed 1, to sauté the onion.

  2. We put the pumpkin, the potato and the vegetable broth in the glass and program 30 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  3. Now we add the cream (which can be substituted for butter or a drizzle of oil), the aromatic herb and crush by programming 15 seconds, speed 10. We taste and add salt if you need it.

  4. We serve the cream with the croutons.

Notes

If you include the aromatic herb, you may have little green dots in the cream. If your children are one of those who panic when they see green things on the plate, it is better that you do without this ingredient.
