Vegan menu for Christmas

We are all like crazy looking for the perfect recipes for these holidays But, if you still don't have it clear, don't be overwhelmed. Today I propose a vegan menu for Christmas as delicious as it is complete.

The truth is that with the number of recipes we have in Thermorecetas It is difficult to decide on one or the other. So, with the ones I liked the most, I have created a menu that is respectful of animals and that I hope the vegan community enjoyment.

When choosing recipes, I have thought of all those people who find themselves in the situation of having to receive and cook for a vegan. That is why the recipes are made with common ingredients, including the textures and preparations are easy.

What dishes does the vegan menu include for Christmas?

It is composed of three appetizers, starter, main course, dessert and five sweets that will be part of the sweetest after-dinner.

Snacks

As I mentioned, I have chosen three appetizers. East pecking can be completed with olives and pickles or nuts. Not forgetting different crunchy breads to accompany the pate.
Broad beans toasted with spices
Pumpkin, mushroom and walnut nuggets
Canapes of carrot and caraway pate

The entree

It is a chestnut soup simple and with a lot of flavor. I really like this recipe, especially because it recovers the use of chestnuts that were so important in our gastronomy.

The main course

I love stuffed aubergines but this time we are going to make it with couscous. A very complete and healthy dish to which you can give your personal touch by adding some walnuts or hazelnuts.
If you prefer, you can make this same recipe using other cereals such as millet or quinoa. The result will be just as rich.

Dessert

Un refreshing sorbet made from fresh fruit. A dessert that will help us digest everything we have eaten so far and that will prepare us to continue enjoying after dinner.
Orange sorbet with fresh fruit

Tabletop sweets

Can not miss typical Christmas sweets and other chocolate morsels to accompany coffee or infusions.
Put them in a platter or several pretty platters and leave them on the table throughout the desktop ... you'll see how at the end, you'll pick up the empty trays.
Nougat to the stone
Port wine donuts
Hazelnut chocolates
Anise and orange buns
Dark chocolate and raspberry jam bites

Now that you have all the recipes for your vegan Christmas menu, all you need is organize the times well. Remember that there are recipes such as tabletop sweets or chestnut cream that you can make in advance. This way you will have time to make the main dish at the moment.

And of course, don't forget drinks. I have not told you about wines or cavas but it is an important part that you cannot miss. So keep them in mind both when shopping and when serving them right.

Now that you have everything ready, I can only wish you to enjoy these holidays with your loved ones.

    Good morning delighted Mayra
    With the vegan menu
I have a question, could aniseed buns be made in varoma?

      Hello M Carmen:
Well, I wouldn't know what to tell you ... I've never tried it, but it still works. There are doughs, such as baobuns or cakes, that can be made into varoma.
I find your questions very interesting, so if you try it, tell me how it went, okay?
      Kisses!!
