Forget about wheat flour and make these delicious gluten-free rice, oatmeal and chocolate cookies. A an alternative as rich as it is simple.

The good thing about being celiac or gluten intolerant is that you discover other cereals and ingredients with which to make cookies and breads. At first it is a disaster because nothing looks good but, little by little, you create your own combinations to prepare delicious recipes like these cookies.

It is important to know that, although they are gluten-free, it does not mean that they are exclusive for celiacs. So if you have a "normal" diet you can prepare them without any problem.

As I said before, that they are gluten-free does not mean that you cannot prepare them. So, if you have the ingredients, I encourage you to prepare at home and enjoy all its flavor.

If you like to do granola Homemade sure you have rolled oats in the pantry. You can substitute them for quinoa flakes although these are harder to find and the flavor is stronger.

La baking powder you can also do it at home. It is used exactly the same as the one purchased and you save yourself from having to leave home.

Another thing you can do at home is peanut butter. You can also substitute for almond butter, cashew or any other dried fruit.

You can use agave or maple syrup. The maple or maple syrup has more flavor but either works well.

If you don't have agave or maple syrup at home, you can use sugar. You cannot substitute one for the other in the same amount because the textures are different, so I recommend that you use only 150 g of sugar and that you add about 50 grams of milk or vegetable drink to give the dough moisture.

You can also use honey although it must be a mild flavor honeyOtherwise it will not let you perceive the taste of cinnamon or chocolate.

    Can you substitute vanilla paste for vanilla sugar?

      I already made them with vanilla sugar, and I don't know what it will be like with the vanilla paste but they turned out to be spectacular! We loved that they tasted like peanuts to me and 30 friends whom I distributed among them celiacs. Very good recipe ??
