Ingredients

  • Lettuce leaves
  • Water

Preparation

  1. We put the washed lettuce leaves in the glass. We cover with water, without exceeding the 1 liter mark. We program 4 seconds, speed 4.

  2. Drain the chopped lettuce with the help of the basket or a strainer. We dry or centrifuge the lettuce.

Notes

It is not advisable to exceed the 1 liter mark because the top leaves remain almost uncut. [br]If you have to chop a lot of lettuce, it is better to repeat the operation. This way you ensure a homogeneous cut.[br]This trick also works for chard or spinach.

    How many grams of lettuce can we chop in 1l. of water?

      I have had to weigh the lettuce because I always do it by eye and they weigh between 50 and 100 g.

      Hello Rocio:

      Centrifuge means spinning the blades very quickly to remove the water. On the market there are some plastic containers to spin leaves. They are very practical because they leave your food almost dry.

      Anyway, you can also drain the lettuce in a colander and then put it on kitchen paper so that it absorbs all the water.
