Traditional bread soup

Traditional bread soup in Thermomix

Do you know the bread soup? This is one of those traditional dishes, those made by our grandmothers and our mothers. And it is also an authentic recipe for use.

There are people who believe the Thermomix® is a modern appliance with which you cannot cook homemade dishes. They are wrong, because with our robot we can prepare dishes as traditional as a stew broth with chicken or authentic Madrid stew.

One of the best things about this dish is that we will be able to benefit el pan that we have left over. How many times have we had a lot of bread left over and we didn't know what to do with it? Well, apart from preparing bread crumbs, we can also make a great and very easy Soup, that it is going to be super cheap. As our grandmothers would do, the ingredients that we are going to use are those of a lifetime and those that we all have at home: bread, garlic and parsley.

Hello Irene! I am new and I just registered. I have had the thermoix since September and use it a lot. Yesterday I made the bread soups! and the truth was that it was very good. I love cooking and I always try to apply my recipes to the thermomix. The soup was good for me, but the garlic tasted like raw. Wouldn't it be better to fry it before? what do you think? Or maybe I overdo the amount of garlic. Thanks!

Hello Raquel, welcome to Thermorecetas!! It is a pleasure to have you as a reader and follower. It's fantastic that you use the Thermomix so much, isn't it an incredible ally in the kitchen?

If you notice, the garlic has been fried together with the bread, but next time we can fry it a couple of minutes before in the butter and then add the bread.

We'll try it like this next time and let us know how it goes, okay? Thank you for writing to us and for making our recipes!! And you know, we are here for any questions you may have. A hug from the entire team at Thermorecetas!!
