Avoid the heat

Having a heat source nearby, such as the heat of the fires or in places where they exceed more than 22° are not good for their conservation. Continuous heat over time can cause alcohols to evaporate, especially in the case of olive oil, deteriorating its texture and causing it to lose its density. Ideally, the temperature should always remain constant, without humidity and avoiding air and light.

Olive oil has numerous components that act as natural antioxidants. Nevertheless, it remains susceptible on prolonged exposure to air over a long time. If so, the constant contact with oxygen will end up leaving it rancid and with an altered taste.
